Foreign visitors to Ethiopia are generally required to obtain a visa, with the exception of citizens from Djibouti and Kenya.

Travelers from other African nations can obtain a visa upon arrival at Bole International Airport, valid for either 30 or 90 days.

Visitors from all other countries must apply online before arriving in Ethiopia for a 30- or 90-day visa, which will then be issued at Bole International Airport.

The visa fees are USD 82 for 30 days and USD 202 for 90 days.

Ensure your passport has at least two blank pages and is valid for a minimum of six months beyond your departure date from Ethiopia.
